SilverCloud Health Visual Design
During my work for SilverCloud Health I was able to work on the company’s rebranding, working alongside all key stakeholders,
helping to guide SilverCloud to their new visual style. Here’s a little sample of my graphic design work – from social media posts, posters to leaflets and white papers. Work ranging from print to digital use.

Animated Video Design Elements
Here are some backgrounds and Icons that I designed to use in SilverCloud Health animated videos.

Character Development
During a rebranding for SilverCloud Health, we had to redesign our characters to match the new illustration style that was created. Below is the development of where we started to where we finished.
In the top left corner we have the original character design for the animated videos. We felt these characters were too simplified and didn’t have enough range to portray people’s emotions. In the top right hand corner we have our initial character development that we did before the company rebranding happened.
From the character variants that were created, we picked the options that would work best for our characters. We then placed a character into an illustration to see how well it fit.
From this we refined one of our characters proportions and shape of their clothes to fit the environment. We also did a test to make sure the face elements could be read from distance and emote a range of emotions.
After that we did a colour exploration of what the characters clothing should be.
To the left is a selection of the people that were created for the illustrations. We felt that these characters wouldn’t work for our animated videos. They lacked the ability to emote and didn’t resemble the end users appearance. We wanted something that people could relate to, like the character designs we had developed just before the company rebranding. We attempted to see if the characters we designed would fit into the new illustrated design. We tried to put them in as is, we tried different colour variants of the characters and changing the character to the new illustrated character proportions.
From this exploration we felt that the previous character design proportions would not fit this new illustration style. We decided to move forward with altering our characters to fit in with the new illustration style. What we started with was using these initial illustrated characters as a proportional guide and resize the previously designed characters to match those proportions.
